Christmas sleigh made in Cornwall UK

Take a look at some of the Christmas sleighs we have created so far  in our workshop in Cornwall.

The  sleighs are made out of exterior ply wood &  are painted with extremely  durable + high quality  2k / car paints

Each sleigh seats 2 to 3 people with additional spacing in the  back for presents

Design: The sleigh design is created by us and can be adapted at request

Production: All components  are CNC cut out of exterior ply wood, constructed together  by hand

Primer + a choice of 2 top coat colours.

If required the sleigh can be customised to specific colours / branding etc

The Christmas sleighs we create are a perfect photo opportunity for a magical Christmas moment.

2018 creative custom props

Creative 2018!

2018 has been a great year for us at ICA Creation!

This year has been both innovative & productive. Especially with the new facilities we have in house with CNC routing this has enabled extreme precision and speed.

Take a look at the diverse creative projects we have had the pleasure to work on

We started 2018 with a project which is both imaginative and inspiring.
We created Winnie the pooh themed elements for Disney’s family rooms at the Westfield shopping centre. The main focus of this project was to be as true to concept as possible whilst being practical and extremely durable.

With our new CNC facilities, we are able to create large letters and 3d logos & custom panels.
Take a look at the variety of projects which have been made possible with the CNC router.

As well as cutting we can prepare a design file for the CNC router

Autumn of 2018  brought an exciting project of Creating a 5m in diameter PACMAN exhibition stand for Namco Bandai which was exhibited at the brand licencing Europe 2018 in London’s Olympia exhibition centre

We also created elements for DaVinci’s gourmet ‘s exhibition stand. We created a pouring liquid effect of their sauce.

Scaled up 3d replicas!

This year we created a variety of exciting props!

A 1.20m high replica of a holesaw to use at the manufacturer’s exhibition
Large trainer props to help raise awareness, a sparkly red and gold top hat to be used as a prop alongside a performance.   We worked with a school to create an artificial Wisteria tree to help create an inspiring space in their library.

We started the Winter 2018  in a great way, creating some festive props such as the red and gold sleigh,  we also had the pleasure of creating the amazing characters Shrek & Donkey to be used at creative displays.

Christmas sleigh made in Cornwall / UK

For some it may seem odd to think about Christmas in this hot July 2018!

 

However, when planning a spectacular Christmas event which promises to be magical it is never to early to plan ahead!
Take a look at our most popular and in demand Christmas prop is Santa’s sleigh which is our original design and made in Cornwall – UK

 

How do we create it?

We use our CNC router to cut out the sections with precision  from exterior ply wood, then we construct it by hand.
Once Santa’s sleigh is constructed, we use primer followed by spray paints  with our clients choice of colours using high quality paints that  last, which enables the finishing touches  to be custom.

Christmas props!

As we approach Christmas 2017 closer each day and this time it’s flying! We would like to share  some of the recent and previous  Christmas props and special displays we have created.

There’s nothing like a beautiful magical setting   that can give the festive feeling and take our breath away that  brings wonder back to  Christmas.

We have been very fortunate to  be a part of some amazing displays or have had the pleasure or creating some key props to generate a festive feeling and most of all helped create some magical photo opportunities.

Maybe for some people the mention of Christmas in August is too early!

But for event organizers for attractions and great organizations holding a Christmas party, for people who simply love everything about Christmas it is possibly never too early!

That’s why we are writing this blog in the summer( although it’s becoming quite cold! ) to share with you the bespoke creations we custom-made for our client during the last festive season.

We made the props to be used at Retallack  Resort & Spas Winter Wonderland here in  stunning  Cornwall.

The brief was to make props which will  help create a magical setting, but they also had to be user-friendly and by this we mean durable, friendly looking, plenty of contact with the Winter wonderland guests and children and great for a photo opportunity.

Because after all Christmas is about the children in all of us! So the items we made couldn’t be too fragile to touch or be closed off. They had  to be fun, unique and made to last.

So what did we make?

We made some playful penguins, different sized snowmen which looked like the sweetest snowmen family in town! A giant  stack of presents and we made the all important sleigh for Santa as he had to fly down to the winter wonderland to give presents to all of the children, who couldn’t wait to see him + we know he was the real Santa because we also visited and our youngest 4-year-old daughter said so!
