Realistic artificial trees

When our workshop turned in to the woods!

We created 7 realistic artificial trees in various sizes ranging from 2m to 5 m high.

It was a great pleasure to work with TR2 productions on this project.

We used a combination off materials to achieve the project such as: EPS, steel , FR coating polyurea which is both water & impact resistant high quality rubber

The realistic texture was a crucial factor for this project. Once texture was applied we painted / decorated the trees by hand.

Giant letters & logos

Take a look at some of the giant letters & logos we have created   for  events, brand awareness, exhibitions, festivals, public spaces & theatre productions  and more.

With our CNC router we can ensure speed and accuracy, we can prepare the design file for cutting for ease of production.

The letters and logos we create can be used  both indoors or outdoors depending  on the requirements.

For out-door events we advise to coat  with polyurea coating as this is both water and impact resistant rubber coating which is extremely durable.

We are proud of the high quality we can provide with quick turn around times.

To create the letters we usually need a DXF file of the letters or logo additionally  the pantone or ral colours required to spray paint with.

Props & 3d models for exhibitions

Why use props or 3d models for your exhibition?

We could also ask why blend in when you can stand out?

Creating a large 3d replica is a great visual way of presenting your product and at the same time engaging with clients and potential customers.

Your custom exhibition prop could be the one element which ties in together with your exhibition and to make it stand out thereby attracting more visitors.

3d replica’s and props are a great  photo opportunity for all,   which in result becomes positive social media engagement

Take a look below at some of the creative exhibition props we have had the pleasure to work on:

The main coating material we use is FR polyurea which is both water and impact resistant

Custom artificial trees

Artificial Wisteria tree

Artificial Wisteria tree

We love to help create an inspiring space.

We wanted to share with you a selection of artificial trees we have created, along with artificial tree trunks and branches.
Our focus is always to for the trees  to look as realistic as possible whilst splinter free &  durability to make the props last in the fun themed environment they will be installed at.
We have created artificial trees for a variety of purposes such as tree trunks for Virgin Holidays tree house, trees for each Winnie the pooh themed family room from the Westfield  shopping centre in London, for a school library, London’s Discover story centre.

It’s all about the texture  &  attention to detail!
The real like texture is crucial to giving best visual results. The main product we use is FR polyurea which is a high-quality rubber. This coating is both water and impact resistant and is simply made to last!
Leaves or flowers, each tree has it’s own individual characteristics, we always source the right products which will fit with the concept for  the best effect, look and feel.
Most of the props we work on need to be as close to illustration as possible, we work with our designers to make sure we can make it happen.
Not mass produced!
Each tree is unique and true to our client’s request. This means that only they will have that tree to suit their themed area. Also we spray paint and hand decorate the tree trunks and branches to give a realistic and organic look for the texture

What was the aim whilst making this custom prop?

• Authentic: realistic looking old style books
• Eye catching: spray painted to required colours + airbrush for pages effect
• True to the branding of the university: this was done through colours and vinyl lettering + Logos
• Durability of prop  as indoors & out-door use to be expected: Coated in one piece with polyurea coating ( water and impact resistant coating ).

Dr Seuss car in the making

Dr Seuss  car

We were commissioned by Discover story centre in London  to transform an adult tricycle in to the fun and interactive Dr Seuss car  from his book The cat in the hat. Discover supplied us with the adult tricycle ready to transform. The main body of the car  was carved from EPS, made in 2 sections, coated with fr polyurea which is water + impact resistant and spray painted to required colour. The cars  various components were created using a combination  of materials and a variety of techniques such as carving, welding, spray painting, coating to achieve final interactive and fun result!  When  transforming the bike we had to keep as close as possible to the original concept of the Dr Seuss illustration whilst making sure it would be durable and practical.  The car  is fully usable and the main body is removable for ease  of transport etc. We cant wait to see the fun bike  in action at events,  It will be amazing to see the dr Seuss bike out and about making people smile!

Working with artist / sculptor Rob Leighton

Enlargement of Maquette sculpture – Rob Leighton.

We were commissioned by artist / sculptor Rob Leighton to scale up his sculpture to an approx 2.5m high sculpture. We worked  closely with Robert in order to replicate the curves and proportion’s as close as possible.

We carved the sculpture out of polystyrene, installed weight support and the base, coated with FR coating polyurea, primed the sculpture. Rob finished his scaled up sculpture with a beautiful coloured and  patination effect. His enlarged sculpture can be seen at the exhibition at Chilstone Nr. Tunbridge Wells, Kent. The sculpture looks truly unique and stunning in situ! We were delighted to be able to collaborate with Rob on his sculpture.

Rob Leighton – Sculptor
“ICACreation are a first class company to work with. Communication throughout was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Despite being hundreds of miles away I was kept constantly updated with work as it progressed by email and digital images; emails being responded too on the same day, often within minutes of my sending). Kamil is highly skilled, generous and professional. I cannot thank him enough for his support. I look forward to working with him again in the near future.”

Splash of colour to your spring 2016!

With our days filling up with sunshine in beautiful Cornwall we can feel the  spring fast approaching!

Spring is a wonderful sense of beginning of nature blossoming, and as the weather gets warmer we all look forward to new sensations with vibrant colours, that’s  why we wanted to share with you some of our colourful projects which we have been lucky enough to create!

We spray paint with high quality lacquers, we also use  the airbrush technique for more detailed pieces.

We can achieve a range of finishes and textures including smooth, matt, high gloss and when required a rough texture as realistic as possible. We can spray paint with metallic paint + clear coat for an extra shine, we  use Pantone, RAL and metallic colour numbers  to our clients spec for great results, the paints we use are weather proof and are made to last.

So whether a project requires a classic one colour  finish or contemporary /  smooth and glossy or just bursting with colours with high detail, we love to make that happen in the best way possible for a great visual impact with quality results.

We are always happy to advise  on the most practical options.

We are currently in the process of testing with our paint supplier for a range of water based colours and soon will introduce this option to our clients  as  still a durable option but more environmental friendly.

Have a look at some images of our projects which include props, sculptures, special display, art installations and experimental marketing elements! Enjoy the colours!
